i have a two bedroom, one bathroom. the apt is 10 min from downtown birmingham, 5 min from homewood.a little about me. i a professional, 27 year old female. i work mon-fri, and normally am gone on the weekends. so i seldom am ever there except during the work week when i am not at work. i am looking for a like minded female roommate.
i ask for $500 each month, that can be paid on the 1st and no later due on the 4th. this includes rent, utilities, water, tv/wifi. i don't require a deposit, but i do require a month's rent that you move in. it is prorated based on when you were to move in, if it was after the 1st of a month.
i have the basics of furniture in my home. the bedroom that will be available is unfurnished. it has a closet, and there is also another closet in the hallway that i have a couple of cleaning supplies in, which i would be happy to share. i do not have a dining room set, but am working on getting one. any furniture/items you would bring (if you were to move in), there would be made room available.
i have no pets, but do not mind pets. i do have a washer and dryer, which would be made available to you. the only down side to this apartment is the one bathroom. i only use it for showers and whatnot, so i've never really had any issues with sharing.
i'm a very clean person. i keep my house the clean, and am a little ocd about cleanliness. i don't smoke as well. i request that there be no smoking inside the house. there is a deck that is attached to the apartment (covered) that can be used for smoking. also, if you were to move in, i would require a 30 day notice if and when you decide to move out.
due to previous experiences, i do ask for proof of employment. i also do ask anyone that may move in to sign an agreement with me that basically states that they will abide by what was stated above.
