i live in a great area, or so i believe so, because the beach is a 10 minute walk away, a brand new super walmart is being build not even a block away, the mall is a block away, there are several restaurants within walking distance, and well i could keep going on. the apartments themselves are not the newest, but they were remodeled after katrina, the housing is very good about pest control, so if you hate bugs like me guess what, you rarely if ever see them. the complex i live in has two pools, a very small gym, laundry mat, a private porch, and pavilions and charcoal grills for public use/entertainment. the complex is relatively quiet, the only real noise is from the trains, and even that is easily ignorable/easy to drown out with other noise. the apartment is a two bedroom with a shared bath. the second bedroom has a window, closet, and a door with a lock! there is a shared closet in the hall, as well as in the bathroom. i personally dont really need to counter space around the sink so by all means if you want/need it. the the shower/ toilet has a door separating it from the mirror and the sink so it does, in my opinion, make it easier to share a bathroom. there is another door in the bathroom that leads to my closet, which usually stays shut. the living room, dinning room, and kitchen are furnished with my stuff, so if you have items we can always adjust and make room, if not then its ok i got you covered i just ask that you respect my stuff and don't abuse/break things. i do have a black cat who is very friendly and he does get along with other cats and dogs, but i would prefer not to have dogs though.
