i'm pretty laid back. i just graduated from lsu with a degree in political science and just accepted a job at the louisiana state senate that i'll be starting in mid january. i will also be going back to school part-time for my masters next fall. although, i love to party and have a good time with my friends and girlfriend, i wanted to find a place that was a little bit further away from campus, but still close enough to be involved with campus life. i also wanted a place that is quiet when i get off of work. recently, i was amazed when i found this huge town house on highland road. first of all, the neighborhood is very very nice, literally right next to the homes that make highland road what it is. a quick description of the place is: 2 bedrooms, both of which are on the second floor and include 13 feet vaulted ceilings. you will have your own full sized bathroom inside your room, along with a walk-in closet. downstairs: includes extremely large living room with a full sized wood fire place. in addition to a small half-bathroom on the side of the living room, there is also the kitchen with all the normal appliances. to the side of the kitchen is a closeted laundry room with washer/dryer and a pantry. minus a little bit of a dated kitchen, the townhome looks brand new and is huge. the balcony is great and the pool is awsome! i was told by my parents as well as my buddy(who's a real estate agent) that i could be charging $650-800 a month for this place, but i really need a roommate asap for early jan. 2010. so, thats why i'm only charging $490 plus half of the cable/utilities. i will cover water/trash pick up. check out the pics of the place. if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me here on the website.
