10x12 bedroom with private bathroom (bedrooms on opposite sides of condo) in my 1000sf condo. proof of employment and preferably at least a 3 month rental agreement. this includes utilities (electric/cable/wifi), parking permit, full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, air conditioning , fireplace, deck, storage, community pool/tennis courts/handball courts.that said.....what i expect is someone responsible and respectful. this is not a party house and i especially mean party, if you know what i'm saying. i work monday-friday 7-4 and would prefer someone who can appreciate my need for sleep, as i will yours. i'm thinking a nocturnal roommate might not be a good fit but, we can talk and see what fits according to our schedules.
i like a clean house but i don't mind if it's lived in. the last two roommates tried to get by with turning the rooms into trash cans and never once lifted a broom, vacuum, mop, window cleaner.....nothing! ok, in all fairness, the last roommate did take trash out, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher sometimes but, beyond that. ....he treated his two rooms like a trash pit and never once helped clean any common areas. that doesn't cut it for me, i'm not your mom, your boyfriend or your maid so unless you want to split the cost of a housekeeper.......my apologies if i sound bitter and authoritarian, there's some frustration in all this and i'm generally a pretty relaxed guy and easy to get along with.
i don't know why i should have to say this to a grown adult but, respect is the key here.
my landlord wants no noise complaints (i completely understand and don't want to be that neighbor anyhow). i'm very considerate of others and would like that you be as well.
i should add that i am 420 friendly but prefer all smoking be done outside and,again, i expect respectful consideration (there are pot smokers who you'd never know smoke and there are those who litter their stuff and leave it all over.....i do not like that style of smoker).
