me: i'm a 27-year-old, substance-free female currently residing in amherst, ma. my roommate is moving out june 1 and i need a replacement (absolutely no couples, please.) i am an undergraduate at university of ma amherst and will be living in amherst until june of 2016. i have no pets or allergies. i also don't have a vehicle (for the time being) but i am available to chat electronically via skype/phone/messenger/bus/etc. i don't mind living with pets as long as they have good manners. ;) i will absolutely not live with 4/20-friendly folks, underage drinkers or excessive drinkers (substance-free would be ideal, but not a dealbreaker). also, if you have tables, a tv stand and a toaster that is a plus! my roommate will be taking those with her, since she bought them. relatively tidy people who will keep things fairly quiet most weeknights are what i'm looking for.

the apt.: i live in southpoint apartments where it is pretty safe and quite spacious. the apartment does not allow dogs, but cats and small caged animals are permitted. southpoint also does not allow smoking within the building (but outside is ok). they can and they will terminate us for smoking indoors. the apartment comes with a fridge, dishwasher and parking lot. there is a laundry facility in the complex and 2 bus stops for the 31 route which goes directly through downtown, umass and all the way to sunderland. i already have a sofa, armchair, tv and microwave. you are more than welcome to set up an appointment to view the apartment. i need a definite roommate by the end of this month (april 30th) as the lease will start on june 1 and southpoint wants 30 day notice. rent will be $1135/2 so $562.50 which does not include electric or internet but everything else (water, heat, garbage, recycling) is included.
